A Little Ray of Sunshine

Lately, Wednesdays have been my busiest days of the week. By the end of the day, I feel as if I've run a marathon. But, for the past two weeks, one of my highlights has been our trips to the local Farmer's Market.

Once upon a time when we had only one child and our naptime schedule was earlier, we used to go every week. I'd pull out the stroller, and Ella and I would walk into town. If his schedule allowed it, Brett would make it in time to walk with us or we'd meet him at the coffeeshop downtown. It was a nice little break during the week.

In the past two months, our Wednesday schedule has changed so that we're actually awake during the Farmer's Market. Although our schedule is very full, a stop at the Farmer's Market is a nice little break. Ella loves picking out some fresh produce for an after-ballet snack. This week, our favorite thing was buying some lovely flowers. Better yet, they only cost $2 for the bunch! We used to the greenery from my Valentine's bouquet. I think we just might make this a weekly occurrence. Fresh flowers are like a little ray of sunshine!
