In 1999, I graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and French. I dedicated the next six years to working in the non-profit sector as the Office Manager at Ocean Hills Covenant Church, a then newly-founded church in Santa Barbara, California. In 2005, I left the office world behind to become a stay-at-home wife and mother.
For the past several years, I've enjoyed my Life with L and E. My "at-home" status has given me the opportunity to blog, write freelance articles about motherhood, serve as a virtual assistant to bloggers, and volunteer as the Publicity Coordinator/Newsletter Editor for my local Mothers of Preschoolers group.
In addition to blogging here, I am ecstatic to be a contributor at both Life As MOM and DIY Your Way.
I can be contacted at janelpiersma {at} gmail {dot} com. Thanks for stopping by!
