Help Me Choose Some Affordable Eyeglasses!

Living on a law school budget, I'm on a search for affordable eyeglasses. That's why I'm so excited that my five Home Try-On pairs of Warby Parker eyeglasses arrived today! I placed my order on Monday night and received the trial pairs late Friday afternoon. As I mentioned before, Warby Parker offers eyelasses with anti-reflective, polycarbonate lenses for just $95 per pair, plus free shipping! Also, their Home Try-On program is FREE. It was too good of a deal to leave unexplored.

So, I've got the eyeglasses in my hot, little hands, and the clock is now ticking! I have until Tuesday to try them out and then I need to ship them back (postage-paid) via UPS. Wanna help me decide? Check out the photos below and then vote in the poll in the sidebar! I've also noted the different colors that I would consider for each style. If you think a different color would be better, let me know in the comments!

So, what do you think? Will Warby Parker be my solution for affordable eyeglasses? Vote in the sidebar. Polling is open through Wednesday, July 18th. You can leave a message in the comments section too!

If you're thinking of giving Warby Parker a try, make sure to sign-up for Shop at Home! If you link to Warby Parker through your Shop at Home account, you can earn 3% cash back on your purchase. Every little bit of savings helps!

I like the Reece, the square frame/shape is very nice on you. Good luck. :) Picking glasses is not an easy decision.

Janel, which ones are most similar to your current readers? I am leaning toward the Nedwin frames. They are square but soft at the edges. What do your friends/family think??

Right now, my current glasses are black with an oval-ish frame shape. They are most similar to the Leigh. L and E like the Nedwin the best because of the color, but my husband likes the Reece the best. I'm really excited to get everyone's opinion. Thanks for your help!

Hi Nellie,

I like the Reece but think they need to be a tad smaller. Do the glasses come in different sizes?

The glasses don't come in different sizes. It is one size per style. I guess that is one of the ways that they keep their prices down.

Hey Janel. If you need me to come see give me a call or come down to the house with your favorites. By looking at the pics I am leaning toward the Nedwin. Let me know.

Hi Janel. I like the Langston and the Leigh. Charlie has Warby Parkers and LOVES them. I think his might be Nedwin. These names crack me up. Good luck choosing!

Thanks Angela & Sarah! It's pretty cool to be able to keep the frames at home for a few days. Definitely helps me get a feel of the different comfort levels of them.
