When my husband and I bought our first home, we were overjoyed to have a backyard. I remember waking up after spending our first night there and hearing the beautiful chirping of birds in the yard. What a lovely sound! So much better than what we heard in our previous apartment -- seagulls or homeless folks digging through the dumpster behind our bedroom.
