Relocating temporarily to California meant that our family had to pack light -- just the essentials. So, for our girls that meant that all of their toys were left in Virginia. Thankfully, my girls are pretty creative and like to use their imaginations.
The first full day at my parents' house, they decided that they wanted to play fairies. Although they had dress-up jewelry from the dollar-store to "activate their fairy wings," they didn't have any actual fairy wings. But, my mom is pretty awesome and within minutes she whipped up some DIY Fairy Wings.
