I haven't taken it on consistently, but I do agree that it gets more fun after you've been doing it for a while. It's one of those things I'm putting off until later - not that I wouldn't enjoy it now, but it does take a certain amount of time commitment and I don't feel comfortable with prioritizing it over some other stuff in my life right now.
